Solo mum. Last FET this week. Lack of support

Hi everyone

I am new to this forum.

I'm a solo mum to one daughter conceived via IVF.

I had 4 embryos stored but lost three since November. I am preparing for my final one next week.

Fully medicated cycle this time....just wrote out my chart....Cyclogest, Lubion, Clexane and Progynova.....feels overwhelming on my own.

Family aren't very good with feelings and most close friends are going through a lot right now so I'm feeling pretty alone and nervous.

Just reaching out a hand in case there's anyone else out there in need of a chat about all this....

I'm done with my fertility journey but here if you need some support and a chat. I'm also 43 and struggled a bit in the past with making a sibling for my daughter. Fingers crossed for this transfer!

so nice to see so many solo mums o the journey too. I’m one too and 43 and trying for a sibling for my son, 2 FET down and waiting to see consultant again following any early miscarriage on second attempt. It’s so hard on your own. Blessed to have one son but will keep trying as I have 6 embryos left. Wishing you all the best on your journey xx

Wow! Very similar situations. I'm so sorry about the miscarriage. I can't imagine how that must have been for you. And so sorry for the other losses too.

I hope things go well with your next consultation and you get some answers

9 embryos is amazing! I had my daughter, one transfer, one lost in the thaw and another failed transfer. I only have this one left now.

How old is your son? My daughter is 3.5.

It really is a lot on your own.

My son is 4.5 now, time has flown by! I know having 9 embryos I was very blessed, just never thought having my second would be so hard. Will try again in a few months. Can we privately message each other? Be nice to have a support group for those on the solo mum journey
