cyclogest unavailable in my area

I am taking 400mg cyclogest pessaries for recurrent miscarriages prescribed by my NHS consultant and now been told by the pharmacies I have rang that they are having troubling stocking them.

Any ideas what to do ? I am seeing the consultant on Jan 12th ?

Are they any alternatives to it ?

Hi Godmother,

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I was told you that you can use Utrogestan pessaries once you have used Cyclogest up.

I have luckily managed to get a months supply now and seeing Dr in hospital before so I will ask them about utrogestan.

I have used both cyclogest and utrogestan interchangeably throughout the first 16 weeks of my pregnancy as I struggled to get cyclogest a couple of times, and all has been fine (currently 39 weeks) Congratulations on your pregnancy x

My clinic uses crinone with or instead of cyclogest. It is in cream form. Good luck!

Hun I know a pharmacy that has supply. As I have them although I got mines from an online company

If you can, I’d try an internet pharmacy like Lloyds online! That’s where my clinic order mine from. Good luck! 🤞🏼
