Cyclogest

I am on day 11 of my 2WW. Was told by the nurse to lie down for a short while after inserting cyclogest. Was anyone else told to do same?

Hi, yeah I was told to do the same - I usually try and lie down for about 20-30 minutes after using them!! Not the nicest things to use, but hopefully all worth it!! Good luck with the rest of your 2ww!! 🤞🏻Xx

I was told it was fine to insert and go but on days where I had time I would lay down for around 20 minutes after inserting just because it apparently takes around 20 minutes to absorb so I found it to be a little less messy if I let it absorb before walking around xxx

First time I wasn’t told to sit or lie down afterwards but second time I was told to lie down for 20 mins after x

I wasn’t advised to lie down but I do.

20 -30mins to allow the progesterone to be absorbed. They’re quite messy and tend to “run out again” rather quickly.

I always do immediately before bed and find I get less mess that way. Could you do similar?
