Does anyone monitor their RHR during their cycle at all? I’ve got an Apple Watch that does it automatically and I can’t help myself from checking it, as my RHR was one of my first “symptoms” in a previous pregnancy (it stayed high after ovulation, rather than dropping just before AF as it usually does).
This cycle it’s been pretty high since transfer, but suddenly dropped by almost 10bpm yesterday (5dp5dt). 😔 in a “normal” cycle this always signals that my period is about to arrive (or has just arrived)! Now I’ve convinced myself that it must mean that our transfer hasn’t been successful 😔 this is our first ICSI cycle so I’m not sure what’s normal for a medicated cycle. If anyone else monitors RHR it would be great to know your experience! Thanks so much in advance ❤️

I also have an Apple Watch so just checked mine from around the time of my last transfer and I had a couple of drops over the first few weeks, including one on day 5 so try not to write yourself off just yet. Mine didn’t start consistently trending higher until I was 2/3 months x
Thank you so much for your reply! ❤️ And thanks for checking for me! 😊 Really hope you’re right and it doesn’t mean anything. I was feeling so positive until I noticed that 🙈 2WW is becoming more and more difficult 😬😬 good job I don’t have any tests in the house 🙈 xx
Yes I have tried this and I found during all my pregnancies it was totally random and did have sudden drops that meant absolutely nothing. I think it can literally just be that your watch has slipped or is a little looser etc that can impact it, so I wouldn't panic too much and take it as a general guide rather than gospel. Heaps of luck x
Ah thanks so much for your reply ❤️ That’s reassuring!! I honestly keep thinking I should just take my watch off for the next week, but I’m so used to relying on it now 🙈 it’s just freaking me out because my pattern is usually quite predictable, so it feels just like any other (non-pregnant) month! Fingers crossed it doesn’t mean anything 🤞😊🙏 xx
Eeeeek! Thank you so much for checking! ❤️ Did yours stay low then or go back up? Mine went up again very slightly, but not as high as it was before. 🙈 my FRER are arriving some time today so I’ve got to try not to test until Wednesday morning! 😬 (I’ll be 9dp5dt) xx
Yeah it jumped around a bit. 62 (high for me) at transfer so think I was a bit excited. Then up/ down a bit and 61 9dpt when I tested and 63 otd. It’s come down a bit more now. Which is good but still shoots up when I’m walking or taking the stairs. 🤷♀️
