Today is Day 10 after my FET and I have tested with positive result. My clinic told me to test on Day 14. However, I am experiencing spotting since yesterday. Initially it was light pink and it turned brown later. The spotting increased today. Its exactly like how i get spotting before my period. I dont want to get too hopeful, but is it normal and did anyone experience this with successful pregnancy?

hi lovely there are lots of women who have had spotting like this with a BFP and it’s went on to be okay in my own experience I’ve had this twice, one not a good outcome but one my little boy, both times I contacted the clinic their advice was to test on test day and if still positive then they would bring me in for a blood test to check HCG (they don’t normally check HCG at my clinic only because of the spotting and bleeding) so that’s probably my advice to you to contact them and explain and see what they say. For now though you do have that BFP so that’s a positive step at this stage. Hoping for the best for you xxxxx 💜
Hi Cancerian. Just keep up with any prescribed medication and Folic Acid, and test again on Day 14 as instructed by your clinic. I don't know of course, but it could be old blood from an irritated cervix through pessary use, or a slight infection. I would drink extra water too. Hope all settles down and remains positive. Diane
hello Cancerian . Spotting is as real nerve shaker and your mind will understandably be on high alert concerned . Try some deep breathing to regulate your cardiac system , and it will reduce the high stress . I’m so sorry to hear you have that worry but I had more than spotting with my first born ; pains ; it went on for a few days. The cause of it ( my son) is now healthy happily married , daddy to Jack aged 5. The anxiety level during early pregnancy was sky high , but luckily it went to almost full term!!
I wish you so much luck peace and good health from a fellow cancerian !
