Early positive result - too early?!

I’m on my third round of IVF (no spare embryos on each) and have done the thing I shouldn’t have done.. tested 5 days early! I’ve got a BFP 9dpt. Is it too early for me to get excited? It’s 16 days since my trigger shot. Appreciate anyone’s experience of this so I can stop going crazy about it! I’ve never been a pregnant before so don’t know what to expect 🤷‍♀️

I really really hope so! My OTD is on Friday so they’ve asked me to wait 2 weeks and was a 5 day fresh blasto. This time round the wait has been killing me!

Usually 14 days are enough to clear the HCG from the trigger. I think the next step is to do a blood test. Fingers crossed, good chance it’s a real baby!

Oh really! I wonder why my clinic are so cautious.. I just can’t get excited about it yet, anything can happen in this minefield 😩 thank you x

I also did test 9dp5dt and was 16 days past trigger and got a positive HPT - went for my blood test at hospital and just had it confirmed so it sounds good for you too x
