I have been getting faint positives for the last couple of days. Took a digital last night as was going out of my mind and it came back ‘pregnant’ safe to say I cried for hours!
My worry is lines aren’t getting any darker and I have have brown spotting when I wipe (sorry tmi)
My official test day isn’t until tomorrow. Clinic usually do blood work but there is a shortage in the nhs or something so I have to do an at home test.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Panicking incase something is wrong.
Thanks xx

Hi lovely, in general your HCG doubles ever 48 hours so the test wouldn’t necessarily get darker the next day. Spotting is common particularly in IVF for some reason. Fingers crossed it’s implantation xxx
Thank you and thanks for your reply ❤️ Think I need to come off google! I’m making myself panic! I’ve been getting faint positives for about 5 days but not much line progression. OTD tomorrow so just going to have to see what the clinic says xxx
Fingers crossed that lines progresses a bit more! There isn't anything you can do unfortunately except hope it does! You're still a couple of days out, so wait for the day 13 line (or some clinics even say day 14)! Really hope it does progress for you!! Keep us updated xx
Was OTD today so done nhs test and rang clinic with result. It was a faint line again & i actually had a couple of wipes of red blood last night. But it’s gone back to spots of brown.
Clinic just booked me in for a scan in 2 weeks time, told me to carry on with medication and ring if there is any change in the bleeding.
They said if I’m worried to do another home test in a couple of days time. Feel like I’m more worried now 😞
I had spotting for weeks, the womb having a good clean out the nurse said ❤️ stop peeing on sticks, they will make your eyes go funny. All the best with your pregnancy mama ❤️❤️ xxx
Unfortunately I started proper bleeding last night so sure it’s a chemical. Going for bloods tomorrow to confirm. Thanks for all ur advice and well wishes xxx
