IVF nr 11 No Transfer

So my doctor decided to put me on extreme high meds this cycle and it was such a fail, we got 8 eggs 2 fertilize non good quality so we ended up with no transfer, compared to my previous cycle

that ended up in a chemical last month were we did much lower dosage and we got 14 eggs 8 fertilized but we ended up with one embryo after PGT testing, still better then nothing.

from my previous cycles and experience every time we do high dosage I get less eggs and bad quality not sure what made her take that route. so frustrating.

next cycle she said will be climid and very low dosage of Menopur, I had to take a break this month cos I got so many cysts and all the follicles were still showing on the scan, my poor ovaries were on fire.

next cycle we will also do the immune treatment, so bummed for such a waist of time and energy

don't know why doctors just don't listen or pay attention.

just here to vent lol

I guess im going on IVF nr 12 :s

I’m so sorry 😢 that sounds so frustrating that they didn’t listen to you! I hope you are feeling better soon to go again, it sounds like you have a really good plan for next round xxx

I hope so, just frustrating to have a cycle go to waist like that

Hi Chantysal. I wonder whether a milder approach might be better, so that eggs will want to come out rather than being forced out. Might be worth speaking to your specialist about. Wishing you every success. Diane
