My wife and I are on our 3rd FET. Our 1st FET worked but we sadly misscarried around 6 weeks. Our 2nd FET was a BFN and we are now 3dp5dt of FET number 3.
During our 1st FET my wife had symptoms by this point, she was bloated, had twinges, cramps etc, with our 2nd FET there was nothing and this time so far nothing. Starting to freak out a bit and not sure how to keep myself together as well as support her.
To make things harder, our best friends have just started trying to conceive naturally and have been VERY open about every stage, from tracking their ovulation with a day by day update to us, to letting us know when they’re taking their pregnancy vitamins and their planned day of intercourse. They’ve been quite vocal about manifesting us being pregnant at the same time as them and it’s put soooo much pressure on this FET. We of course would be very happy for them if they fell pregnant but it’s going to make it even tougher if this round is a fail. I think their mindset is they’ve been through and support our TTC journey so we should also support theirs.
I don’t know, maybe I’m being ultra sensitive, and also freaking out way too early about the lack of symptoms my wife is having this time round. We will always compare symptoms to our 1st FET and I can only assume her pregnancy symptoms would be the same every time?!

Sorry for your loss and failed transfer. And Sorry you're feeling like this - this period of limbo and waiting is so hard! Its still so early and very normal not to feel anything. I felt nothing really and got a BFP - I was shocked. Just try keep busy and know that each cycle is completely unique so try not to compare. I felt loads of symptoms om my failed cycles.
Regarding your friends, that is really tough. But I think you just need to be honest and say something like "we are so excited for you that you've started trying and we really want to support you on that journey. But right now whilst we are in this cycle, we need to focus on staying positive keeping the pressure off. Would it be ok if we kept conversation away from TTC for now?"
TTC naturally is very different to what you're going through so you need to protect yourselves and they will understand if they are good friends. I have a friend who is also going through fertility treatments and I always check what she feels ok with me sharing about my own cycles as it can be hard when you need to just focus on your own journey.

Thank you so much IVFmumma you are so right, it is still very early and I do need to remember we are pupo! That’s so good to hear you had a bfp 😀 and with no symptoms. Crazy how much we can rely on the symptoms as a sign it’s worked when that’s not always the case.
You’re right, we just need to be honest with them and I’m sure they will understand. They’re great friends and have really supported us throughout our journey, they do keep saying they’d feel awful if they fell before we did, which of course we told them not to be so silly. We find it hard sometimes to see pregnancy announcements but it doesn’t change our situation.

Hi IVFmumma thank you for checking in on us. On 6dp5dt we got a very very faint positive! We are now 6+2weeks and I still can't believe it. Had an early 6 week scan where they saw a sac and yolk sac, going back for a re-scan this week as they said it was too early to see the baby. I'm in a bubble of excitement and fear!
oh that's amazing news!!! Huge congratulations 😊🎉 sounds like things are heading in the right direction! I had my early scan on Friday last week when I was 7+ 2 and we saw a beautiful heartbeat and baby measuring right on track. It's so surreal. I'm sure your next scan will be similar 😊 good luck for the re scan and take care! Congrats again.

I don’t have much to add other than I am also on my 3rd transfer which happened Wednesday after similar experience for you and so I am so sorry for the two beautiful embryos that couldn’t be with you. Remember (this is what I keep telling myself) you are PUPO. X
hello I am 4 days past 5 day transfer and feeling very little. I’ve had 2 bfn and 2 chemical this is number 5. There’s honestly no rhyme or reason to any of it. I did have some ‘symptoms’ the last twice but they both ended up being chemicals so 🤷♀️ I honestly don’t know if it means anything. We just have to take every day. Try and keep yourself busy and hope for the best xxx
Thank you Boo718 it's a crazy rollercoaster wait isn't it and it doesn't get easier. I keep asking my wife is she feeling ok in hope she might list a load of ‘symptoms’ haha so silly isn't it. Wishing you alllll the luck that this is the one for you too!!
the wait is insane. Due to the weekend our otd is Monday the 3rd. Feels like forever away. We must be about the same time. My transfer was on Wednesday. Go for a nice walk, have a nice meal watch a movie your doing everything you can xxx
I had a fresh transfer and had a few symptoms sore breasts etc, bled at 6dp5dt bfn.
This FET I was completely convinced it hadn’t worked because of the lack of symptoms, I though my period was just around the corner! I got my BFP 2 days ago at 9dp5dt!
