Hi there,
I recently was on this site looking for day 3 transfer success stories during my 2WW and I couldn't find many, so I wanted to add mine
Over the last 2 weeks I have been symptom spotting, blog surfing - you name it to see if what was happening to me was a positive sign or if there were any day 3 success stories to give me hope.
I took my pregnancy test yesterday and got a BFP - so now I can say I am a success story and hopefully will give hope to others.
Its not been an easy ride, 2 years of trying for our second. I have a DS from IVF who is nearly 3. It has taken us 6 rounds and ALOT of money but finally I got the news we were waiting for yesterday and we are now 4wks. I still can't quite believe how lucky we are and it certainly doesn't feel real. I know it is very early and anything can happen but we are going to remain positive and wanted to share that positivity with others as I know how hard it is.
Perseverance definitely pays off. I am also 40 years old and 41 next week, so I also want to give hope to people who are a little older. We are lucky enough to have been successful with our own embryos too - it really is such a blessing. We transferred 2 day 3 frozen embryos (1x8 cell and 1x10 cell, which developed into 12 cell in between thawing and transfer) so we will have to wait to our scan to see if it 1 or 2, but I am pretty sure it is one (either way would be completely amazing for us as long as they are healthy). I have been pregnant with twins before and I certainly do not feel as rough as I did then, plus my bloods points to 1.
Good luck to anyone going through this really touch journey - there is certainly hope xxxx
