ARK IVF clinic- Greece - Testing help & advice

Hi everyone,

Gosh I haven't written a post on here for such a long time. It has been a long hard road.

Almost 5 years of TTC.

5 years of being denied IVF treatment on the NHS.

5 years of battling with weight loss... It has been a rollercoaster.

We have finally decided that we will be getting a loan out to pay for IVF abroad, and have found a clinic in Greece that seems to have good reviews. We have had an online consultation with the doctor, and think we've found our clinic.

So my first question to you very lovely people is - has anyone on here used this clinic?

And my second question is- we've been asked to have the below tests before treatment, which are calculating to be very expensive! So just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for reasonably priced reliable tests?

-Vaginal Microbiome test (Invivo healthcare currently recommended)

- Pelvic scan (fertility) to assess ovarian reserve and uterine morphology further (Ultrasound direct rcurrently recommended)

- Blood tests - AMH and TSH

-Semen analysis and sperm DNA fragmentation (Fertility Solutions currently recommended)

Bit sad that this is the only response...

I haven't actually mentioned costs of the clinic and treatment.

Just asked for advice on finding tests here in the UK, and if anyone had first hand experience of using this clinic.

Hi Lavender. I'm sorry you haven't received the responses you'd wish for. I'm afraid I can't be much help other than to say for AMH and TSH you could try Medichecks, I've used them for various things and you do a pinprick of blood yourself and send it to them then receive your results online alongside a doctor's comment xx

Thank you so much ❤️Was having a really bad day when I saw my one response was just making sure I didn't discuss clinic Costs 🤦‍♀️
