Hello! The best advice I can give is to rest for 2-3 days after transfer if possible. Not complete bed rest but really taking it easy. This is when the embryo implants (for 5-day embryos) so the less the movement the better from experience. Best of luck xx

Hi,

Wishing you best of wishes for your transfer and 2WW, best advice is to rest as much as possible for few days then I tried to be as normal as possible because it’s quite an anxious wait so tried to keep busy but not lifting anything heavy or doing to much throughout.

This is my second round ( first was successful ) and after both transfers I also went and got McDonald’s fries straight after! I don’t even know why I just seen that this is what a lot of woman do after a transfer - something with the salt I think lol.

Meds are so important at this stage and there’s a few at different times so I always set alarms on my phone so I don’t forget

X

Best of luck for tomorrow 🤞 Some personal suggestions for after the transfer:

- Find some things to do that you enjoy but nothing intensive. Maybe some gentle walking.

- Focus on quality nourishment (after the McDonalds 😁)

- Easier said than done but focus on one day at a time and make the most of your time rather than wishing it away!

- Try to wait till OTD to test!

I enjoyed this video re:2ww. To be clear, I wasn’t recommended this by a clinician but still, I found it interesting to see what suggestions are out there from people with some related experience:

After the transfer, our consultant recommended that my husband does all the cleaning and cooking in the next few weeks. She may have been joking but the suggestion sounded entirely sensible to me :) I hope this helps!
