Has anyone ever had really high progesterone levels a week after transfer?

I was worried they were too low after my previous chemical pregnancy (I was on 3 x Utrogestan only and felt like it wasn't being absorbed properly), so asked for my levels to be tested prior to transfer this time. It came back as 27nmol, so I was told to add in one Lubion per day. We tested again on transfer day after I'd been having Lubion in the evening for 2 days, but it was only 36 so I was told to increase to 2 Lubion per day.

I did a home test through Medichecks 4 days after transfer and have just had the results back as 1760nmol! I've read that levels can fluctuate but that seems way too high (I did the test exactly 6 hours after morning Lubion/Utrogestan so that timing wouldn't skew the results) - has anyone ever had a level this high and been told it's ok? I've emailed the clinic but am worried now that it's too high - I did a test this morning (7dpfet) and there's a faint line, but now I'm worried these levels will affect the outcome as there is conflicting information out what it should be.

Hi I was on 3 x utrogestan a day and 1 x 25mg lubion a day then on transfer day I said I was worried that I'm not absorbing the utrogestan so my Dr uped the lubion to 2 x 25mg a day they didn't check my bloods but he said there was no harm in upping it as there is no such thing as too much progesterone. Only a concern if its too low. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know! Fingers crossed 🤞 for you.

My consultant said there’s no point testing progesterone because the level fluctuates so much depending on the time of day and other factors. So it could just be that? I wouldn’t have thought progesterone being too high would be an issue though. Hopefully your clinic get back to you soon!! 🤞🤞 xx

Hi Loosy. You are obviously stacking it up, and hopefully producing plenty of the hormone yourself. I would imagine your clinic will reduce the level now. Don't worry, as you only absorb what you need. Good luck! Diane
