Hope I’m not jumping the gun here - not even had viability scan yet. My husband is Spanish and we’ve planned to visit Spain and Italy in 3 weeks for 4 weeks. Has anyone travelled during the first trimester? Is it ok? I’m obviously worried about miscarriage abroad etc… Help!

Travel in first trimester after successful FET? Is it ok?
we travelled to dubai and Mauritius when I was 7 weeks and 9 weeks, I had spotting the day we arrived in dubai but I'd had that when I got my first bfp too, it was only once then all was fine, could have been a fluke, could have been due to travel. Either way, my boy is now two and I would travel again x
I went away to Europe when I was 7 weeks or pregnant. Had some bleeding but after a scan I was told it was old blood, implementation blood, the baby was fine. It was a successful pregnancy. I think if you look after yourself all should be good x
Yes for me - long haul flight around 10/11 weeks. I was still on lubion injections and pessaries at that point and I did them in the plane toilet - interesting experience(!) but the break was absolutely worth it.
Probs one for the pregnancy after IVF forum as you will likely get best response there but I couldn’t have travelled during first trimester I was so sick and dizzy all day with morning sickness and could only eat ice lollies even the 30 mins drive into hospital appointments were torture! I think all pregnancies are different though but just one to consider it might be easier in 2nd trimester for you (and cooler in Spain) xx
