First scan after FET but slow heartbeat......is this bad news?

Hi all I had a scan today and I had 5 day blasto inplant and give us the best news of being pregnant.......only today I had my first scan at 7+5 days and I could see the foetal pole and sac but the sonographer said she was a bit concerned with the babies heartbeat. It was also measuring slightly smaller than my dates. My main concern was that we got took into a side room where a nurse basically said we needed to prepare for the worse in case it leads to miscarriage. We are booked in for another scan in a weeks time to hopefully see improvement with the heart. Has anyone else experienced this? I am trying to remain positive. Any tips or support is welcome xxx

So sorry lovely, hopefully things will work out. Ime it didn't work out but I was also spotting for a week before I miscarried I seen the heartbeat day before I lost they too wanted to scan a, week later.

Thank you I hope so too. I'm sorry yours didn't that's very sad. I've not spotting or pain or anything so I'm taking it a good thing. I guess we just have to wait x

Thanks hun I took it as a positive as my two losses before that I never got a heartbeat now I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Everything seems to be going well still early days.

I’m really hoping it turns out ok for you. One of my twins had slow heartbeat and stopped growing at 10 weeks but the other one was ok. But I have read all sorts on here so a week can make a huge difference.

I had the same thing happen to me. And found out I miscarriaged over a week ago. When we went in for out 8 week scan. I hope everything works out for you next week xx

I had a d &c last week. So am still recovering and only went back to work today. Still have bleeding and pains, but slowly getting there. We haven't talked about next steps yet. I feel I need a little more time for my body to recover. But due to being 35 this June. I feel the press is on to decide quickly. As I don't have Many eggs and this will just reduce over time xx thinking of you during this difficult time. We are all strong and we get through it one day at a time x

Oh my gosh my thoughts are with you it can't had been nice having that. I hope take the necessary time to get a healthy mind and body. I can relate to age I'm 38 and this may be my only chance. X

What are your next steps?

It's so hard, have spent so much time this evening talking to hubby about next steps and are no further along. So hard to know what to do next
