First period after fet?

Hi ladies

So my period hast arrived after my failed de transfer in early December.. my clinic have said not to worry & it will arrive ? I’m aware the medication may have a impact but I’m usually clockwork & was after my first ivf in 2020..

Any ladies experienced cycle mess up after fet ?

Sorry to hear about your failed transfer. My cycle is very different since I started IVF (I’ve had 3 transfers and 2 egg collections and a mock cycle for the implantation clinic). I went from clockwork 28 days to 26-36 day cycles. I actually remembered one month being 42days but that was rare! Hang in there and try not to stress xxx

Sorry to hear about your failed cycle. It's very hard and the lack of period prolonges the issue. I had similar issues after my failed cycle in October. I actually spotted every day from 11dpt and my period never really arrived until what would have been my 2nd cycle - so around 25 days later. Then my next cycle was a week early. Finally my 3rd cycle was back on track at the end of December and my January one also seems on time. So it does take time for your body to settle down.

I found it all a bit upsetting as I just wanted things back to normal and get back to normality so please reach out if you want to vent x

Thanks for sharing … I had one day of dark dry brown discharge (sorry tmi ) but definitely wasn’t a bleed .. my clinic want me to go for a scan to check everything after Iv done a hpt 🙄 xx

The progesterone can stop the period coming and it can be a while I think before you get your period. Mine came a few days after I stopped but it was the following period that felt like a normal one
