Hi, I only had fresh embies, we couldn't freeze any (allegedly....) so I have no words of wisdom. Low, I can understand - it's a rollercoaster! Nauseated - obviously, stress levels are probably thru the roof. Sore and achy? Not surprised- you definitely go thru some amount of being poked and prodded!! Hopefully it's just your mind playing tricks on you - trying to tie in "feelings" with what you've gone through. Just try and stay positive - the 2 week wait is a life sentence I know. Good luck.

It has been 5 yrs since my first round so don't remember how I was after embryo transfer back then, but I do remember feeling angry during week 2 before failed preggy test. It is a weird emotional rollercoaster and the tarts they put me on make me confused at times. The pain has eased just getting aches coming and going.

Hi paeroking. Basically, yes it is! Probably all down to a mixture of drugs you have been prescribed before and after? Progesterone suppositories/cream is notorious for making you feel yucky, and as “katiejane” says, coupled with the 2 week wait – not good! I think too, that at this time you can “listen to your body” a bit too closely. Every little ache and pain you notice because you are so aware. Try your best to keep occupied if you can to TRY and take your mind of things a little. Keeping everything crossed for you both. Kind regards Diane

Thank you Diane I was starting to think I'm going mad. I am getting a lot of pain in my left side at moment.

Hi P,

Yes, I agree with Diane that it is pretty normal to feel yucky after FET. I certainly felt most of the things you described, and the combination of having to take progesterone and oestrogen is not an easy one. I also find that any internal intervention (such as embryo transfer, trans-vaginal scan) leaves me feeling low with bladder issues for a few days afterwards - after being poked and prodded. Usually the best thing that helps with me is rest.

On the positive side, it's great to hear that your embryo defrosted okay and that you were able to have the FET. I know you've got a difficult 2week wait now, but am thinking of you lots, and hoping.

Hiya noper. The aches and pains have subsided today, I feel absolutely nothing at all so dunno if that's a good thing or bad thing.

Hi pardoning. Good luck. Hope you get get the result you want. I didn't enjoy the 2 week wait. The drugs I was on gave the same side effects as if pregnant apparently and that makes it even harder. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks pumpkin. Am in a bit of discomfort today but I think it is the medication causing it. It is frustrating not knowing if it has worked or not. I been feeling a bit negative about it really as it is hard to be positive.
