3rd failed transfer

Just done our test this morning and it’s negative 😥 This was our 3rd and last embryo on our NHS cycle. I was on the long protocol this time with a period of down reg which really messed with my mental health to the point I needed anti depressants.

I’m 41 and feel like this just is never going to happen and that the odds are stacked against us.

Our next move will be to do a private round at another clinic but I want to ensure we are armed with as much knowledge as possible.

I’m thinking genetic testing of any embryos we get, ERA and NK cells? Can anyone let me know if they have had any similar tests?

I'm so sorry. I've just had by BFN this morning as well. We did genetic testing but it clearly hasn't helped us this time round. Hope you get some success next time. Take care of yourself.

So sorry you are going through this. A failed ivf cycle is so so hard to deal with. So try to take extra care of yourself. Another test you may wish to look into are the ALICE and EMMA tests. I really hope all works out for you in the very near future. Take care now x

I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m in the same boat and just about to start a 4th round privately funded. We opted to do NK cells and my consultant has added steroids and extra progesterone for this cycle. I know lots of women on here have had good outcomes with ERA do I think I’ll do that if this round fails. Look after yourself and give yourself a bit of time to heal before rushing into anything.
