Fresh embryo transfer advice

This will be the first time I will get to the stage of fresh embryo transfer.

Can you ladies please provide advice on what I should be looking out for and what parameters are important. I know the endometrial lining should be over 8mm and trilaminar. What level should the oestrogen and progesterone be? Any other bloods recommended? How often should levels be checked? I will be on progesterone suppositories twice a day and maybe enoxaparin injections. Is there any other medication that I should be on e.g. oestrogen?

This is my one and only shot of IVF using my own frozen eggs from a years ago. I am 44 years this month, so if it doesn't work this time my partner wants to stop.

I don't want anything to be missed at such a crucial stage of implantation. Grateful for any advice on what I should make sure happens before and post implantation.

In my case I started on prenatal vitamins after consulting with my clinic and also omega 3 tablets. I had blood work done and was asked to take some vitamin d shots and tablets as well. I was asked to start on folic acid on the first day of the cycle and aspirin from day 2. All this was in consultation with the clinic.

Other than this, it is just ensuring you are in good health and eating healthy.

So talk to your clinic about your specific case to start on a regimen. I had a coordinator who helped me with the whole plan.

One plan won’t suit all, so you have to check. Good luck!❤️🍀✨🤗

Hi, no not yet. I'm getting the Emma test done first. Then One go of stimulation and in parallel thawing my frozen eggs. Will be my one and only chance so trying to predict any potential problems along the way. How are you?.

Ah that’s good I think that’s a good test to have done. You will be told when to start progesterone from that. I would check your level on the day of transfer or the day before. Progesterone is vital and over 100 is ideal. Estrogen is started a few days before transfer too or on the day of transfer. Depends on what your clinic advises. I took clexane, aspirin, folic acid, vit B,D,C a multivitamin and I had to take medication for months to reduce my NK cells. I also took steroids and intralipids a week before transfer, then my doctor took bloods to check my WBC and they were slightly raised so I did another intralipid the day after the transfer.

I’m ok thanks, trying to keep focused and hopeful the next one will stick.

Let me know if you have any questions, I’ll try my best to help. Best of luck with the transfer, I hope I see a positive post 🥰 xx
