I have never been given any injection or meds to prevent ovulation before I start FET. Is that normal? I don’t have pcos so don’t have regular cycles but my first failed FET I had a dominant follicle and just before starting progesterone was given a hcg trigger? I always feel that’s why it failed xx

Get in touch with your clinic and ask them to go over again with you what medication you were given and why + the timings of the injections This may help you understand your treatment protocol betterTake care
I did and I feel so much better nowmy clinic said very rarely you ovulate when you are given estrogen tables and my first cycle I was on a low dose estrogen tablets and this time he will increase it so likelihood is I wont ovulate
Without having any special knowledge I think what you had sounds like a natural modified FET. The medication to stop ovulation is given in the medicated/artificial cycle FET, a different protocol where they shut down your own cycle and give you estrogen tablets and progesterone pessaries . But as JA FNUK said asking the clinic to explain would be the best.
