FET

FET this month started progynova on Tuesday, I have a scan on Thursday the 12th of November and probably a transfer a week after. My last FET failed with a 3bb embryo this embryo is of the same grade and is my last one. I’m really not feeling hopeful. Is there anything I can do to make the embryo more likely stick? Anyone on the same cycle?

Hi lovely I'm a few days behind you, even though this will be my 4th attempt it's my first fet. I am working on my lining so having raspberry leaf tea and beetroot juice and pomegranate juice. Will have some pineapple just before and after transfer.

Keep your feet warm, to help circulation and blood flow. Maybe do a bit of yoga. Theres not much you can do really to help it stick, it either will or it wont but lots you can do to help blood flow and thicken your lining which all help contribute.

Wishing you the very best of luck!! Keep us posted xx

Thanks good luck to you. I’m going to take baby aspirin do you know if that helps. The anxiety over this being my last embryo is really having a impact on me. I’m so worried it won’t work. I don’t feel confident at all. I don’t know how to get my positive outlook back. X

As far as I know, aspirin would be taken if you have sticky blood in order to make it thinner, I am not sure if you should take it unless your consultant has recommended it?

I completely understand, I have been feeling very much the same, I am not feeling positive at all this time with so many hurdles to get passed. I had a counselling session through my clinic yesterday it helped in a small way. Good to get it off my chest, and I do feel like a weight has been lifted today.

Have you tried the mindful app, I have used it a lot and kind of forgotten about it, but I have downloaded the specific FET ones (£4.50 I think) and it really does help to focus your mind. Also they have stress and anxiety ones, perhaps try them before going to sleep or when you are feeling a bit down.

You can do this 🤞 xx

Hi, just wanted to say im also doing my fet this month and when i went for the scan after 9 days of taking progynova my consultant asked if i was on baby aspirin and if not to start taking it as it helps with blood flow and can help with implantation. X

Thank you! ☺️ And you! 🤞

I also only have one embryo left.

Hi my love, I'm so sorry about your bfn and the anxiety of this being your last embryo. Do you eat pineapple and the core on transfer day and after transfer? And the McDonald's french fries just after transfer. I can't remember for the life of me why people eat the fries after transfer but the pineapple is for the enzyme bromelain which helps with implantation. I really really hope this is your time. I will pray hard for you. 💗😘

Hey lovely, I think they best way to increase odds of success is to increase nourishing lining and blood flow. Healthy foods, beetroot, Pom juice, greens, raspberry leaf tea, lots of gentle walks in sun (vit d and blood flow to uteru!) xxx

I just had my FET on with a 6 day embryo on Oct 27th and got my BFP yesterday! The things I did was drink pomegranate juice like once a day, I was on Estradiol 3x's a day and I started taking baby aspirin the week before my transfer, still taking it but will ask my doc on Monday when to stop and the day of my transfer, I did go get McDonald's fries and made sure they were fresh and hot lol! Afterwards I went to the mall to keep the blood circulating, then went home and did everything as normal except any heavy lifting or vaccumming etc. Drink plenty of water and eat blueberries, raspberries. Hope this helps!! Lots of baby dust to you!

Hi Jhenderson

I dont have much advice unfortunately but I'm also going through my fet this month. This is my first attempt, we had to freeze all after egg collection due to risk of OHSS so this is our first round of FET. My scan is on Monday 9th November so am reading all the advice.

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck for your cycle. Xx
