Hi , i have started my medication today for upcoming FET which is provisionally booked for the 28th September if the scan on the 23rd goes well. Our fresh cycle was not successful despite having a good response to the drugs and large number of eggs both collected and fertilised.
Our clinic only managed to freeze one 5 day blastocyst so we have everything riding on this that it survives the thawing process 🙏🏻
I’m just in need of some advise/ reassurance / success stories and what I can do or eat that will increase my chances of implantation. X

Good luck with the fet. It is so much better for your body to have recovered from the initial stress of the stims and other drugs. Best thing to do is to try to relax (much easier said than done). Also visualise your little emby making its way to snuggle in and grow.
Good luck with your journey! 🍀 I only had one Frosties left so I know that added pressure that your feeling & I’m currently 27w pregnant today. Remember to relax and take it easy & I don’t know if it works but I heard that keeping your feet warm helps. Good luck xx
Good luck Hun. Try not to worry too much about the thaw (although appreciate that’s easier said than done). If it was good quality when they froze it, the chances are it will thaw beautifully! Xxxx
Hi, just wanted to wish you every bit of luck. We are in the same position as yourself, our first fresh cycle didn’t work (after textbook response) and only managed to freeze one embryo! I’m very nervous about even starting the FET process, as this will be our last go (self funded). I will follow your journey with hope & baby dust sprinkling all the way x
I have no advice but I just wanted to wish you good luck x
Good luck! My first cycle (fresh) was not successful and now I am almost 23 weeks pregnant following a frozen single embryo transfer. Like many people have said, the thaw rates are normally pretty good. I had acupuncture this time round but don’t know if it made a difference or not. The process is not as intense as a fresh cycle in terms of the impact on your body which is nice! Xx
I think it was about two just before transfer- they recommended before and after transfer on the same day but I could not fit that it so had one session two weeks before, another session two days before transfer and one session a few hours after. I then had two weekly sessions until my 12 week scan. X
I feel so much more hopeful after reading everyone’s messages. Cannot thank you all enough 🤗 with regards to acupuncture I was contemplating as I did have 4 sessions during my fresh cycle. Xx
My fresh cycle failed but my frozen was successful and we only had 2 day 5 blastocysts in the freezer! I didn’t change anything really other than making sure I had plenty of rest , sleep and kept hydrated! I’m currently 11 weeks 6 days and have my 12 week scan tomorrow ! Send you lots of love! I have everything crossed for you x
I have read a lot of success stories from FET so it’s quite reassuring. The only issue at the moment is that my transfer lands as the same time as a closer family members wedding and celebrations are a week long so I’ve worried I won’t get the rest that’s required. Although by OH has been quite stern with me 🙈 .. I’ve also restarted my acupuncture sessions, plan to have 3 pre and at least 2 post transfer. And I’m quite enjoying them as I usually drift off during 😊 xx
Hiya. I am going through the same process as you. I had 2x grade 4BB embys through to blastocyst stage I had one fresh cycle which unfortunately failed and they froze the other. I started my burselin injections on the 15th and I'm booked for transfer on the 22nd Oct like you I'm praying it survives the thaw process otherwise it's back to square one. I have heard from other people's experiences and recent studies that frozen transfers can be more successful as your body isn't as stressed from having the drugs and egg collection. Fingers crossed for you and good luck x
Im not quite sure of the grade of my embryo but the embryologist said it was good. All the best to you too x
I’m soo glad that this time round I’ve not had to have injections even though I didn’t administer myself they were quite daunting.
My scans tomorrow and I’m just praying the thickness is as expected because I’ve mentally prepared for a transfer on Friday! Atm just trying to do a meal plan and it’s stressing me out more than the scan 🙈lol
FET transfer date officially booked for Friday 28th!!🤗
went for my scan yesterday and the lining is at 9.5mm so we’re both very pleased. Have now started progesterone pessaries and I have to say I’m feeling a lot more chilled out. X
