Failed IVF/Unexplained Infertility/Hashimotos

Hello, I’m 36 (37 next week) and my partner and I have just had our first round of IVF which didn’t work. We had 13 eggs collected, 8 fertilised and 3 made it to blastocyst stage. We transferred a 4BB embryo.

Our infertility diagnosis is ‘unexplained’ but I have Hashimotos disease and take 100mg Thyroxine. This was put up from 75mg a month before our treatment because my TSH came back as 3.91 so not in range. On top of this my antibodies were over 1000 when I had them tested earlier this year.

We are NHS patients with our fertility clinic and have our follow up appointment next week. I have read that some clinics do immune testing and others don’t (I think ours doesn’t) so I’m wondering if anyone has been in the same boat as me and has any stories to share.

Im absolutely heart broken by the failure of our first round and struggling to know where to go from here. We have two 3BB embryos frozen…Any advice would be much appreciated x
