I'm week 4 or 5 into down reg I'm just waiting on a call to tell me my FET is to be cancelled after this mornings scan - the cyst is still large, my lining is 6.7mm and they think my oestrogen is probably still high. Waiting on bloods to confirm that.
Ugh its so frustrating and I don't know if I can do anything to help? I started this cycle in February technically and was pulled off due to high oestrogen levels. It's such a long slog, as you all know and can relate to and I know others have it much worse than me.
Anyone experienced this and can advise if there is anything I can do re diet or lifestyle? I have definitely been more relaxed on both fronts after my egg collection and haven't been the best.
Sending love to you all x

Hi Joey. UGH, so sorry this cycle is having to be cancelled! So frustrating when you've already waited so long to start.
You could try a low-estrogen diet. My friend was on this a few years ago to regulate her hormones as her periods and PMS were awful. I remember the nutritionist had her cut out sugar and eat a cup of cruciferous veggies every day. I think she also ate a lot of avocado and eggs? It worked for her, but it took a few months.
Oh I'll look into that! I've been having too much sugar for def but also having avo eggs nuts turkey etc etc I wonder if I should have been doing better and would that have helped me. Prob my fault 😂😂😂😂 don't you love the ivf guilt!
Omg, not your fault! We ask so much of our minds and bodies doing IVF that I sometimes wonder if a restrictive diet makes it worse because it adds more stress! I sure as hell had sugar through both my cycles. Xx
Heya. I’m so sorry, how frustrating! When you just want to get going….
On the thin lining front, I was told to drink pomegranate juice, plenty of good protein like nuts and eggs, and some gentle yoga to help blood flow.
I’m afraid I don’t have much experience to offer on hormone levels - but have you looked into acupuncture ? I’ve been going for a few months for general fertility, but I do know that hormonal imbalance is one thing they can work on. I don’t know if it’s your thing, and I can’t say for sure whether it makes a difference, but I know people who swear by it and I personally do feel it helps good luck! xx
Thanks for your reply! Yes I've been religious at acupuncture over the last 6 months, going just about weekly. My diet definitely has been off so ill try to introduce the things youve suggested although I've had lots of eggs avo and nuts! Just disappointing isn't it x
Hello sorry to hear about this. I know how frustrating it is and I am completely opposite with thin lining. What I’ve heard is less protein ( so no meat if you eat). Another thing is NAC which removes estrogen from your body. Good luck with everything xx
