Day 7 stims scan

Hey, I went for my 7 day stims scan today and they can see 11 follicles at the moment which she said was good.

What do you guys think as I’m not sure what to compare it to as this is my first cycle? Am I likely to get any more at this stage?

It is very unlikely that you will get more but sometimes 1-2 more can appear from horizon 😂 Anyway 11 follicles is a very good number. As an advice always ask for sizes of your follicles and also they can predict at this stage how many eggs you will get.

😁 I totally understand you, I didn’t pay attention either on my first cycle but after that I was like a detective looking for evidence 🤣🤣

Haha I need to improve my detective skills! Any tips for my scan in 2 days time at the follow up? 🧐

Definitely you have to improve them 🤣🤣 just ask how many eggs are they predicting just to be prepared as sometimes happens that we have high hopes that can fade away in a matter of a second. On my first cycle I had 18 follicles and I had a shock when they collected 6 eggs only and 3 where mature.

Hi I had 11 follicles- 11 eggs retrieved- 6 were mature, 5 fertilised, 5 made it to day 5 blastocyst all grade A. Currently 9 weeks pregnant with first fresh transfer. Best of luck with everything

hi there strawberriesandcream - you probably already had your egg collection by the time you see this. If you did i hope you got the result you were hoping for.

My first cycle they told me they expected 3 eggs on day 10 scan. At EC i got 9.

Hey, yes I had it this morning. They got 8 eggs .. not sure if that’s good or bad really. Although I know quality is most important to hope they are good ones xx

Morning! Hope things are going well with your treatment ☺️💕 I saw this this morning as I have my 7day scan soon - so very glad for the tip re size 🕵️‍♀️ I was wondering was this your first appointment with the clinic? We started in July after Covid stopped us starting in March 😤 so we’ve not seen anyone since Feb when we had our first consultation! Just curious to know if you’d had bloods or other tests prior to your day 7 scan? Really hope of those 8 eggs some have fertilised and going on to be little heroes for you 😍 best of luck with the coming weeks xx

Hey 👋 I had one appointment before this as had to have blood tests and pick up drugs but nothing other than that. So it was a bit weird as you’re thinking is anything happening etc! Unfortunately none of my eggs fertilised so we’ll be on cycle 2 in around 6 weeks. Good luck for your scan, hope you’re feeling ok on your injections!! ❤️
