I’ve been for my scan today , I have 3 follicles on each ovary. They are all small, I didn’t ask specific measurements but they said they were only around the 10mm.
I know it’s not the best news but last cycle I only had 3 follicles at this stage, not sure which size. But I was close to cancelling where as this time no mention of cancelling yet.
My next scan is in 2 days. Really hoping they all grow a bit more 🤞🤞🤞
Hi - stay hopeful. I initially had 6 small follicles but during my next scan there were 11 (5 were over the measurement they were looking for) and I was amazed at how much some of them had grown. Wishing you all the best xx
Hey don’t feel bad I only had 4 small ones on each ovary on my first sims scan. I took a while, I was 13 days on sims on short protocol before they were ready. Don’t lose hope xx

Tonight is actually my 7th stim injection so fingers crossed for Friday . xx

Had a scan today after stimming for 9 days. My right ovary is pretty much unresponsive with two follicles of small size and my left has responded a bit better but today the biggest is 15mm with a couple around the 12mm mark and then a couple around 10mm. Feeling so disheartened as just had a cycle 6 weeks ago with much better follicle response so don't understand what's happened. When is your next scan? Xx
Today was day 6 of stims. I don’t expect loads of follicles considering my age and amh, but I was hoping they’d be a bit bigger. My next scan is Friday. Every cycle is unpredictable. I don’t know if it’s the protocol or just luck sometimes 🤷🏻♀️
Let’s hope both of us get better results.

Hi, I wanted to say stay hopeful too. I am going through my first round of IVF with PGT testing due to genetic issues on my side. I had my 7day scan on Monday and had a similar picture to yours. Went back yesterday and I had 13 follicles with a good number growing at 11, 13,14 and one at 15. I'm back again tomorrow and possibly Monday with the view to collect next Wednesday if all continues. I was downbeat on Monday as I'd read other people had much higher follicles but felt much better after Wednesday and the doctor explaining how we all react differently to the drugs. As my mum said...your body is working at the speed for you (she avoided saying that I'd always been a little slow in life haha!) Anyway, keep the faith. It's certainly a rollercoaster of emotions and the waiting is probably the hardest part of you ask me... especially if you're someone who like control over things! Take care x

I didn’t sleep well last night, so it was nice read today 🤗I don’t think I’ll ever get as many as you but I just really hope these few stay and keep growing. Sorry to post here so many months later but I find myself in a similar position - day 6 scan but only small follicles. They counted 8 but as for sizes nothing over 10 yet only 1 x 8, 1 x7 and the rest 6s and 5s. I was just wondering how yours had progressed by yours second scan? Thanks so much
