Just wondering if anyone knew what the optimal level was?
Also, has anyone had progesterone prescribed through their GP in light of NICE guideline changes to prescribe progesterone on nhs after one or more miscarriages? I was thinking that if I was to become pregnant this cycle, then save on private prescription through Stork and get it from my GP?! I have an appointment next week which will be after my transfer and in TWW so will ask then.

80 sounds pretty good! Mine was around 50mnol I think, and my clinic want it to be above 40. Other clinics like it higher though, think a lot say around 50? The usual minefield 😂 I don't have insight on asking GPs to prescribe progesterone, hope they do start doing this more readily though xx
Check with your clinic in case they have optimal levels but mine was 52 and the consultant said that was good, just low for the amount of progesterone I was on (a lot) and my previous levels had been much higher (>190), so he added more progesterone. I got a BFP from/on the lower amount though (tested v early) so 52 must have been fine to get to that stage. My consultant seemed to think you couldn't have too much though and it did gradually increase over the next couple of weeks. I got mine on a private prescription but from a supermarket at cost - the pessaries were pretty cheap but the lubion injections were still quite a lot. My GP was pretty happy to prescribe the pessaries but tended to want the justification from the fertility clinic. I'm sure if I'd asked on the basis of the NICE guidance once I'd got my BFP and based on two early losses, that would have been sufficient too. But it's so hit and miss with GPs.
