Cyst on ovaries

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I had a MMC in September. We were hoping to start our FET in Nov but my period was very light (which is unusual for me). I had a scan and it showed a cyst on one of my ovaries. The clinic said not to worry as they’re very common and it was likely to be due to the stress my body had been through because of the miscarriage and ivf drugs and they expected it to go on its own. Ive since had a normal period. I was told to call when my period starts in Jan and they would scan again. The clinic said that it wouldn’t stop me from going ahead with my FET. I called today as I was feeling anxious that my period is due on 2.1.22 and the clinic will be closed so I wanted to know when I would have the scan as I don't want to have to further delay the FET. They’ve said to go for a scan in a couple of weeks, just before Christmas in case the cyst has grown. This didn’t even enter my mind as they seemed confident it would just go. I’m now panicking in case it has grown and I can’t start my treatment. Has anyone else had a cyst and it’s been ok? Thank you for reading and for any advice xx

Hey, I had one and it meant a fet was cancelled when they found it on a down reg scan - they were super worried about mine as it was large. A couple of months later I had a scan and it was all back to normal. Good luck! X

Hey, I am having endometriosis cyst also, but my ivf doctors said, in ivf they can bypass it and no need to worry about it.

Thanks so much for your reply. I had surgery to remove my endometriosis in March, they don’t think it’s those kind of cysts so I’m hoping they’re right. They think it’s because of the miscarriage and the ivf drugs. good luck with your ivf journey. Take care xx

I also had a cyst removal surgery in december 2020, but my cyst formed again, and through the biopsy of that cyst we came to know that i am having genital tuberculosis, cause of infertility, tube blockage.Hope everything will be fine in yours and mine case🙂
