medicated FET - 16mm possible cyst/empty sac on ovary? To proceed or not? Advice please

Hi all, today I went for my day 10 scan for my medicated FET. My lining was nice and thick but they spotted a 16mm ‘cyst’ on one ovary.

They took bloods and said that , whatever it is, it’s not secreting hormones so we can proceed with the FET as normal but it was my choice. They said it was most probably a cyst or an empty sac.

I’ve been in this situation before and cancelled as I like things to be perfect.

Has anyone been in this situation before, gone ahead and still been successful? Or is it best to wait and try again next month?

Thanks , as always.

yeah I’ve had it a few times and I just go ahead as long as bloods okay. I had it on my successful FET too actually they didn’t seem to have any issues with it and said it can be common to have them and they disappear the next month xx

During my lucky egg collection, they found a cyst which they didn't notice before because my right ovary was a bit hidden. They drained it and the light symptoms I had before (like shortening of my cycle by one or two days) disappeared. The frozen embryo from that collection is now a lovely 4yo girl 🩷 good luck with your process!

Sorry, I know this isn't exactly the answer to your question...

hey, I have a 25mm cyst on my left ovary and had a blood test which confirmed it wasn’t producing any hormones if its own and clinic said it was absolutely fine to go continue. So I took their advice and went ahead with my FET yesterday xxx
