Cysts on ovaries

Hi has anyone had a fet with cysts on there ovaries . I’m waiting for my fet and I was told today I have a cyst on my right ovary. So worried now they won’t be able to do the transfer. X

Did they say that was a possibility? I had a cyst on my ovary before my first cycle began two years ago but at my next scan it had dispersed by itself xx

I had a cyst when I had my first stims scan in Feb and it went away by the 2nd scan 2 days later and wasn't a concern to go ahead with egg collection.

I think the nurse said it was because I'd not long had a bleed.

I think we all get them very often but just don't realise. Apparently they can be caused front the follicle which released the egg and just hasn't dissipated yet. On one round I had to go onto the pill for a month to get one to go away, which it did. However I have had 4 transfers now, all with a cyst and it hasn't stopped or impacted on anything.

This happened to me, don't panic. it might delay things a couple of weeks as they will re scan you to see if it's gone, if it is all will continue, if not they may have to drain it. Mine had burst naturally and we continued. Good luck!

I had a cyst too at the start of my fet cycle. I had my cycle delayed for two weeks - the next scan you'd have never known there had been a cyst there in the first place. xxx

They might recommend taking blood test to see whether the cyst produces progesterone... if it does not, I think the transfer can happen anyway. Good luck!! xx
