Immune protocol, when did you start steroids?

Hi all, I recently had immunology tests done and they have come back elevated with high NK cells so clinic are going to put me on steroids and intralipid drips.

I am wondering, if you had this protocol, when did you start the steroids with a FET? My clinic wants to start me on steroids, & the drip, on transfer day - I thought it seemed a little late in the cycle to be starting them? For them to have an affect? Thanks as always x

I've recently had uterine NK cell testing and been recommended to start steroids the day before transfers (I'll be doing all FETs). Don't yet know how well it will work, fingers crossed.

That sounds strange to me. Most cycles I started my prednisolone on day 1, or - higher dose 5 days before transfer.

Hi lovely, I was on an immune protocol for my last transfer. I started 20mg prednisolone 6 days before transfer (same day as progesterone) and had my intralipid drip the day before (they said it could be same day too). It was the first time using steroids, our 6th transfer and our first BFP.

Thanks Millbanks. Such great news for you! This will be my 6th transfer too. Hmm, yeah, I would've thought it'd be better take them for at least a few days before transfer...think I will have to ask the question! Thank you! x

I did natural fet and started 10 mg prednisolone on day 6 of my cycle jumping up to 20mg on transfer day xx
