Day 7 of stim, lead follicle 17mm

I'm currently on day 7 of stimulation, was on 450 gonal-f until yesterday, when I started 225 gonal f and 225 menopur. Today I had my first scan and it showed my lead follicle is already 17mm,and the other ones are below 11. I have 16 in total but some are too small to be measured. I only started fyremadel after the scan todau. I'm really scared that the follicle is too large already! I'm waiting to hear from the clinic but wondering if anyone had any direct experience with this scenario and how it went.

Hello 2021KT17 Well apparently that follicle was just going way too fast, and was causing my estrogen levels to rise very rapidly. Compared to my first cycle, they were already higher than the day before egg retrieval, and I was about half way through, but the other follicles were still smaller. The consultant said we could have forced through, but in her experience this could impact the quality of the remaining eggs. It didn't feel like good use of time, money (for the medication) and most of all to put my body through that for less than ideal results. I was devastated of course, but I've since made peace with the idea and hope that the next round will be a little more lucky..
