Lack of symptoms during egg/follicle stimulation

This is hopefully a stupid question but I’m currently taking gonal-f and menopur at the start of a short cycle. I’ve not really had any side effects other than a slight ache/cold feeling in my lower abdomen. Does the lack of symptoms suggest follicle / egg stimulation is not working?

Hiya, try not to panic.. it doesn't mean its not working. I often didn't feel much until right before egg collection. Hang on in there! Good luck x

Hi lovely! I was the same as Hidden and didn’t have any side affects except just before egg collection where my ovaries felt very swollen xx

Definitely does't mean that - I felt nothing and found out I had 40 follicles growing at the first scan!

I don't think it makes a difference. I had alllll the symptoms and only like three follicles in the end lol.

My pain and bloating started kinda halfway through my cycle. But compared to what I read, they were milder than what others experienced. Each woman’s body is different. Also I had two cycles and my body definitely felt it in cycle 2 vs cycle 1, so each cycle is different too. Take it one day at a time and send positive thoughts. I actually started naming my follicles that were hopefully developing and talked to my pelvic area (was sometimes weird) in round 2. Things we do to will the process to work 😊.
