Do progesterone shots make you nauseous?

The progesterone pills I'm taking make me really nauseous. I'm thinking of asking to switch to shots. Do those of you on shots have nausea? If FET takes I'll be nauseous from that as well. I can't imagine double the nausea! I'm already miserable.

I’m on the shots and I’m not nauseous at all - but I don’t know if that’s luck, I barely got any nausea on the pessaries or when pregnant either…. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Hope You feel better x

It can be yes, basically it can mimic the whole pregnancy symptoms. I read the information leaflet that came with it, nausea, mild cramping and I'm also having that metallic taste in my mouth. It's all listed in the possible side effects.

I'm in 9dp5dt, I won't test until 14dp. Hoping for good news as its our last embryo.

Are you taking utrogestan? You can take them vaginally instead of orally and you won't feel nauseous.

Hi Ell. Oh dear, thaqt's not nice. Speak to your clinic and see whether you can use it vaginally or rectally - less chance of nausea. If not, then there is medication to prevent the nausea, so ask about that too. Good luck! Diane
