IVF treatment for difficult fertility cases and Best Clinics

Hello lovely people,

I would really appreciate your support and any useful information you can give.

We have been trying for almost 4years now and it's been an awful journey primarily because I'm in a catch 22 situation. Diagnosed with multiple fibroids accompanied by severe menorrhagia. I am one of those women that have horrible fibroid symtoms. I have also been bleeding heavily, infact the doctors don't particularly think bleeding describes it. It's more like pouring blood because I'm not only constantly anaemic, I have had to have emergency blood transfusions. That tells you how bad it is. They say they can hopefully treat the bleeding but the treatment options will mean that I will not be able to conceive. It is depressing as we would really love to have children but don't want to lose my life in the process. I don't want to have to choose and I find myself crying andnl feeling hopeless everyday. I have had surgery and they have taken out some of the fibroid but left some as taking those out will perforate the womb; besides they are worried about excessive blood loss and decided it's not worth the risk.

They are now considering IVF but they say there aren't any guarantees for me. Basically, they didn't sound hopeful but would try anyway. Still waiting for NHS approval for IVF but my quality of life is so awful because of the bleeding so I just need to get pregnant as soon as possible to get out of this catch 22.

I have read that Spain is famous for better outcomes and high quality IVF treatment as they have the latest advances / techniques in IVF and are also experts at difficult fertility cases.

I was wondering if anyone has been to Spain for IVF treatments and would like to share your experiences please.

I couldn't read and run. I did my IVF cycle in Spain and now we are pregnant with twins. It is a great clinic and good doctors. They have one of the highest success rate in Europe, one of the reason we chose them. Probably not the cheapest but worth the money. I will PM you the name. I did a cycle with DE at a clinic in Spain. Really good, got a BFP although it unfortunately ended in miscarriage. Got two embryos in the freezer so hoping for a frozen transfer ASAP. Can pm you clinic details if you want? They were linked with my clinic in the UK.
