Ultrasound during 2WW

Hi all, during my recent IVF cycle they found a sizeable cyst on my right ovary, and also a polyp on my cervix. The doctor who did the embryo transfer last week said neither should affect this round, and the implantation of the embryo, but I should notify my Health Centre and get them checked out. I did contact my Health Centre and they've booked me for a trans-vaginal scan (the same sort we do all the way through the IVF cycle using a wand). I asked if it will be safe to do this during a potential pregnancy and they've reassured me its all fine. But I'm worried they'll disturb something like the lining or the embryo... I don't know what to do. They also have booked me in another 2 weeks time for a vaginal examination, I guess for the polyp. Again, I've been told this won't affect the pregnancy, but I do worry.. What do you think I should do? Delay till I know whether I'm pregnant or not? Or follow their advice and do the appointments and trust it won't hurt my embryo?

Hi LauraShe10 The scan will be ok as the nurse has already explained to you And the next appointment is 2 weeks after this and if the test is positive - fingers crossed- you can explain this to health centre to see if they still want you to attend and what your next step should be Good luck

I found out about having a cyst when it ruptured and end up in hospital. They couldn’t see me in gynaecology as too busy so an ultrasound was done (still able to measure the size and what type of cyst) instead so this could be an option if worried.
