Involuntary Orgasm followed by pain during 2WW

Not sure who to talk to about this. So 3 days after transfer (2 donor embryos) had a orgasm during sleep, woke up followed by intense period like pain that lasted a minute or so. It happened again last night day 5 after embryo transfer. So worried now. I usually get very bad period pains every month. Had two cycles with own eggs and failed. Think this happened in one of those cycles also. Anyone know if this is the body rejecting etc?

Sorry I haven't experienced it but at my last cycle who worked,I wanted to gave sex so badly. I also have seen ladies having vivid dreams on the cycles that worked.it might be a sign🤞.

Hi, Don't panic this is nothing to do with your body rejecting the embryos.. its just a result of all the hormones you are on. Its quite common and nothing to worry about. I have had it when I have been pregnant so you never know it could be a positive sign. Good luck xx

Yes I had terrible cramps but they soon went away x

Hi i’ve had the exact same thing happen to me twice!! Just like you I woke up to it with bad period type pain afterwards which only lasted a minute or so. I’m currently on day 8 of the 2WW and it’s dragging like mad! I’m soooo relieved to hear it’s normal/common and just due to hormones so thank you for that 🙏 xx

Hi Benjiq my test date is this Sunday. I’m so tempted to test before then but seen from others that it’s best to hold off testing early if you can. How about you? It’s my first cycle so I’m all new to this and I just can’t help reading into things but this forum is a god send! xx

Oh very good, I will have my fingers and toes crossed for you. I am due to test Tuesday. I probably won't test before then as I am already in a state of panic, I like that at the best of times 😊

I am so sorry to hear you are struggling, it’s such a tough time but just try and stay positive as I had no other symptoms to go on other than this (sore boobs had gone for me as well). Please let me know how Tuesday goes as I really am rooting for you!! xxx

Hi I had this both times I had bu bfp's. Was also a positive sign for me. Hopefully will be for you too. It carried on occasionally till later on in the pregnancy. Good luck

I feel I am out. On a normal cycle I would get my period on the 6 th of the month. Today after having sore boobs all week, not sore at all. (7 days after transfer). Also noticed when I pee it's extremely yellow. This all looks like AF for me? What you think?

Not having sore boobs doesn't count you out at this stage and the yellow wee just sounds like you are dehydrated!! Hang on in there.xx

I’ve also had this twice during the 2ww. I wake up to it and then there are period like pains in the tummy which pass after 5 minutes. I’m so worried about it as if my period is coming or as if the embryos didn’t implant. I had a double fresh transfer of 5AA and 5ba but I’ve had 4 natural miscarriages and am 42 and have been told I have likely a high no of chromosonally abnormal eggs.

But I’m hoping this is a good sign. OTD is Thursday. I’m going crazy waiting and a lot of my symptoms have gone aside from headaches and tiredness. I’m putting it down to the progesterone and my body getting used to it though 🤞

Happened to me two nights ago and last night! The contractions and pain woke me up and on the wee hours of the morning I found this forum. What a godsend! Happy for your bfps and hopeful it means one for me too! This is our first fresh transfer after 6 ivf cycles so we’ve never gotten to this stage before.
