Hi lovely, I had a failed transfer back in March and this time round I had the scratch and got a BFP last week. Who knows if it’s anything to do with the scratch but it’s good news so far 🤞🏼🤞🏼. Also I found the scratch no way near as bad as I’d expected it to be. A bit uncomfortable during and then some very mild cramps for a couple of hours afterwards. Good luck on your journey! Xx

Aw congrats! ❤️🙌🏼 If you don’t mind what we’re your reasons for ivf? Mines is egg quality and what baffles me is that I had two 5 day blastocysts and neither worked

Thanks so much! So my situation is a bit different to most. My husband has cancer and had chemo a few years ago so had to freeze his sperm before that. He’s now on immunotherapy (and doing brilliantly-touch wood) which means it’s not safe for us to even attempt to conceive naturally. We have a 17 month old boy conceived through IVF- fresh cycle, so now crossing everything we can give him a baby brother or sister 🤞🏼🤞🏼 . My last transfer that failed was a grade A B+ 5 day blastocyst. The consultant said to me sometimes there’s a problem with the embryo that just can’t be picked up, so maybe that’s what’s happened with yours? Have you got anymore in the freezer? Crossing everything for you lovely. It’s such a tough journey. Xx

It is so tough but exciting too. I don’t have any left in the freezer I had two blasts one in and one frozen so now onto the next round 🤞🤞🤞 hoping for lots of baby dust for you and each of us xx

Hi, first Ivf I didn’t have the scratch but 2nd round of Ivf I decided to have it and had a successful pregnancy, it was uncomfortable having it done but felt fine after it - good luck x

I’ve just had my first scratch for my 3rd FET so no idea if it will help yet but just wanted to say it was absolutely fine! So quick and easy to do. Good luck x

Hi, I had my 2nd round earlier this year, FET, resulted in a bfn but also had the scratch just before, just finished round 3, fresh cycle and got our bfp on Friday. The dr told me that they can last for up to 3 monthly cycles, it’s slightly uncomfortable like mild period cramping but it didn’t hurt. I think it’s personal choice, good luck with your journey xx

I found it painful. Not a great experience but didn’t take too long.
