I had a scratch during the lap/hysteroscopy back in March. Egg collection 3rd of May but cancelled transfer.
Today is D8 of first cycle after EC and need to wait for second cycle to try a Natural FET.
I can’t decide whether to do another scratch or not...🙄 it would be the 3rd one in less than a year... (1/august ‘17 - 2/March 8th).
I wouldn’t be able to do it on day 21, going away for a few days next Thursday (going mental, need a change of scene) - it would need to be day 16 or 24... I’m flying on D17 so maybe not ideal before anyway ?...
Not sure if the last scratch would still be beneficial, some say 3months, some say 6... our last FET didn’t work even having had the scratch...
Any thoughts 🤷♀️? Xxx

I had a scratch at end of March and ended up doing a freeze all in April... I’ve asked this questions also because with my fet my transfer will probably be mid-July so just over the ‘3 month’ cut off...
My consultant said that as it’s my first round they’re not concerned with me to have another however if I’d had multiple unsuccessful cycles previously they’d recommend another...
I got told a scratch lasts around 3 months. I would ask you clinics opinion. When I went for my DE cycle (I'd had 3 scratches prior to my OE cycles) I got told that too many scratches in a short space of time is not beneficial so I left it - was secretly relieved if Im honest! Hard to know what to do. If your clinic cant help then I guess you just need to go with gut feeling!xx
Hospital didn’t really advise much. They initially didn’t say anything and when I asked one of the consultant said it would be good to do it again but he’s also doing some research around it so not sure....
I feel so deflated I can’t be asked anymore... we also already had unprotected intercourse so again, not sure we could still do it anyways.... aaaaarrrgghhh so tired 😓 xxx
I think there is a lot of research going on around the country. Personally if I thought that I may regret not having it I'd then just go for it. I think this is all about knowing that we have done all that we can. Try not to let it get you down hun, chin up!xx
