I had a failed FET (transferred 31 Jan), I didn’t get a period during the TWW but my beta was negative 💔 out embryo was 6AA but I’m told even if an embryo appears normal there can be abnormalities that mean it doesn’t implant.
We were gutted but wanted to focus on next transfer. My clinic allowed me to go straight into another transfer cycle immediately which was amazing - the worst part of this is the waiting so I was delighted!
Transfer 2 I think is going to be next weekend (baseline scan Tuesday). Trying to stay positive we have a little boy who is 10 months it worked before it’s always hard to come back from a failed cycle though.
Anyone else around the same time? I’m dreading the TWW again 😢

Hello, sorry to hear it didn't work out. Was it a medicated FET? I had my 2nd beta today, (transferred Feb 10) and its confirmed to be a chemical. I didnt get any BFP with any hpts, so I kinda knew all along it didn't work. I was told to stop my meds today and my clinic wanted me to wait for my regular period (not the withdrawal bleed) before I can even start with my baseline scan. So thats like another month or so to get rid of all the hormone injections I had during my cycle. The waiting is a torture but hang in there, I am glad you're clinic allowed you to go ahead as soon as possible. Praying for your success, peace of mind and lots and lots of baby dust. 🍀 ✨ 🍀
So sorry to hear that 😣 but yea I was surprised they allowed me I think I was lucky I had a call with them on day 1 of my period coming after negative beta. My period was like 5 days late though. My doctor said she had no reason or evidence to show that I needed to wait a cycle so I’m trusting her! I was only taking progesterone and femitab. Hope you get some good news on your next try 🙏🏼
Hi LJT22, I had my first failed cycle this month. I had a fresh transfer, but got my period a week later which was heartbreaking. I need to wait a full cycle before having a FET. It is good you could try again straight away! I hope all goes well next week. Xx
Hi, firstly, I’m sorry that it didn’t work. Hope you are ok. do you mind me asking if your embryo was the same ‘batch’ as your previous one that was successful? I had 3 frozen embryos and my first was successful and resulted in a baby girl but yesterday I had a negative test result for the second. I have 1 left and I feel like there is lots of pressure for this one as it’s my last chance 😳 I just wonder what I did wrong…x
Hey Gerti, sorry to hear that every loss is so painful 😣 but yes I got 6 embryos fromThe same batch, first fresh TF failed, second frozen gave us our son and third frozen transfer failed. The clinic say even the most normal looking embryos can have genetic abnormalities which cause them not to stick so it’s still a bit of rolling the dice each time. Try to stay positive if it worked once it can work again xx
