FET #2 advice

Ladies!! Hope you’re all well. I had a chemical pregnancy and then a miscarriage from natural conception. Then, my first FET ended in a chemical miscarriage so they tested me and I have factor v leiden! We are starting progesterone and all the autoimmune stuff tonight - including blood thinners. I also told my super stressful job I’m out for awhile ✌️! So I am hoping these things help make this one go well and stick. Praying 🙏 you think it will?? Any advice?? What to eat, drink, exercise or don’t? Xoxo to all

I have that too. They put me on baby aspirin. Do you have it from both sides (homogeneous) or just one (heterogeneous)? It for sure can effect implantation and miscarriage. Oh and also I’m 17 weeks pregnant so it can help!!

I’d look into supplementing your progesterone as well. I have a friend who had 3 miscarriages, one was chemical, and in the end she was on steroids and lots of extra progesterone to carry her son.

Yep!! I will be on both starting tonight. Congrats on your pregnancy!! Wishing you all the best for an easy rest of your term and healthy baby to follow!

Hello, best of luck to you!

I’m on clexane twice a day and baby aspirin once a day, alongside increased progesterone (800mg cyclogest + POI injections) and steroids after three unsuccessful transfers (last one being a CP). I’m now newly pregnant so I think the above helped! 🌈🌈

In terms of what to eat, drink, exercise... I occasionally had some pomegranate juice (add sparkling water to help the taste), I’d eat lots of protein and clean foods like avacado, eggs, spinach, kale, broths and stayed really well hydrated (I had a fresh transfer so was so bloated, and was instructed to drink 4L a day + 1L of milk). I actually avoided yoga this time as my clinic told me just to gently walk and not do much which isn’t like me but I listened!

Best of luck to you 🌈🍀🤞🏻 Xxx

Congrats!!! Did they tell you that prior to the transfer? Or just once you had transferred the embryo?

In terms of what to drink? It was post egg collection but after transfer they sat me down to go through do’s and don’t s! Xx

Oh sorry! I meant regarding exercise. Is it ok to before?

Ohhh sorry! So during stims they said to take it easy but I did continue with yoga right up until transfer. I asked why the suggested no yoga post transfer and she said that they like to avoid any stretching of the torso. So I listened, and it’s the first time I’ve not done any yoga through transfer as it usually helps to destress me.xx
