Faint line, Duff Test, or wishful thinking?!!

Hoping some of you can share some successes or set my expectations!! 😉

I am 12 or 13 dpo - I’d had an AFC scan done on cycle day 12, to see how mild stims we’re doing and they could see that I’d just released an egg from each ovary (within 24 hours prior to the scan). Confirmed by Progesterone blood test also. Apparently the stims cause early ovulation, so not concerned about that.

I usually have quite long cycles (29-31 days) and having only been pregnant once without tracking, I don’t know if I’m a late implanter, but always suspected I was due to long cycles, despite OV happening around CD 14-16.

Took a CB early test on Sunday morning (9/10 dpo) which was completely blank - not a spec. So did another this morning (with only a tiny trickle left in me!) and can see a barely visible line. In real life it’s more of a very fine and incredibly faint blue line, but in photos it’s a bit splodgy/shadowy.

Do you think this could be a real line? Or a duff test (which I’ve heard of)? or my eyes playing tricks?!. I’ve also heard that late implantation and faint PTs often mean chemicals - really hope I’m just a late developer!!!

I can see a line congratulations! Those tests are not at all sensitive - mine didn't show a good line until I was 17 DPO. First response and clear blue digital give much better earlier positive tests- with those I tested positive at 12 DPO! Xx

Hey lovely. Thanks for checking and writing back. Oh wow really?! - okay so that’s a good sign! I’ve got a clear blue digital left, so think I’ll give it a couple more days and see what it says. I had only been asleep for about 3 hours and had drunk about 1ltr of water before that, with the tiniest pee, so hopefully I’ll get a stronger one in a few days. Maybe I’ll treat myself to a little pee-on-stick Saturday morning 🤣🤞🏼🤞🏼😘 xxx

Hey everyone,Unfortunately we may have had a chemical - AF came before I had a chance to re-test. In one way it’s good to know that we produced eggs this month, but I would have liked for at least 1 of the 2 to have stuck 😢

So for now I’m still fighting Covid and now have menstrual pain on top - I guess it wasn’t meant to be this month. So next month here we come 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I'm so sorry I've 2 chemical pregnancies( as well as one at 6.5 weeks and 20 weeks.) It's so very upsetting to see that positive test and for it to go so quickly. My ex fertility specialist said it was progress the first chemical pregnancy we had - out of 6 years of not managing to conceive we did get pregnant and he said there was no reason another pregnancy wouldn't work out just because this one didn't - he was right a year afterwards ( due my endo re growth and 2 more surgeries) we conceived our 2 year old daughter Francesca! Although it's very sad I'm sure you will go onto have a baby. Xx

Ah sorry to hear about your Chemical and MC’s. amazing that you got your daughter - gives me hope!! Thank you love. You are right, it’s sad, but so much further than we expected to get. Fingers crossed for the future!! Xx
