Hi Olivialinney Sorry for your loss. I had a similar situation. I ended up calling my clinic as it had been 8 weeks since I had bled and was waiting to start my FET. The clinic got me in the next day for a scan, confirmed the miscarriage had completed and they then gave me pills to bring on a bleed to start the FET. Wishing you lots of baby dust for your FET. Xx
Hi, I'm in the same boat and waiting for my period after medical management mid April. This happened to me in october and it took 8. 5 weeks so hang in there it should come soon. If your want it to come sooner you can go to the doctor and they will give you pills but i wanted a natural period before starting ivf again. Really sorry for your loss and good luck for next time x
Hi Olivialinney. Oh dear! Unfortunately it can take up to 3 cycles for your period to return to what is normal for you. Hopefully you won't have to wait that long, and I do hope you've got lots of support around you just now. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi Olvialinney. So sorry for what you are going through. I've been there. I had a D&C after my last missed miscarriage but then had retained tissue which kept me from getting a period for more than 8 weeks. I did not have any outward signs of retained tissue, no bleeding, but I did have slightly elevated HCG (around 10). It wasn't detectable on a home pregnancy test but was found in my blood work. My doctor did a hysteroscopy to remove the retained tissue after finding the elevated HCG and my period returned within 3 weeks of the hysteroscopy. It might be worth asking your clinic to check your HCG levels. Lots of love and support. It's really tough.
