Hi yep this is totally me! So we went for fresh IVF in July 2020, 2 blastocysts, 1 frozen and other fresh transfer, got our BFP, but missed miscarriage at 7 weeks.
We then decided to pay for another fresh round of IVF to try and get more blastocysts, again we got 2. Transferred one but BFN and froze the other one.
May 2021 went back to first frozen blastocyst from the previous year and I’m now 17 and a half weeks pregnant.
I can’t remember the gradings but I presume the frozen second transfer would have been seen as slightly lower quality than my first transfer. I think after fertility struggles, IVF and a loss your anxiety is on another level and there are hundreds of hurdles you feel you have to get over. I certainly still feel that now. Just try to take a day at a time and try to feel positive and hopeful for your next transfer. Really hope this is the one for you too xx
Aw wow thank you. That’s a really positive story and congratulations. Maybe I’m worrying for no reason and hopefully there still is a good chance this one will be one we get to meet and finally cuddle 🤞🏼
It’s totally normal and expected to still feel worried/nervous, so don’t feel bad about feeling like that. You’ve just got to keep going and trying to make your dream come true. Really hope this next transfer is your time xx
My treatment got delayed until Decmeber due to me catching COVID the day my transfer was due in October. I got a BFP but unfortunately I’m currently miscarrying again😔💔
