Im hopefully going to be having a natural FET cycle in July if my dummy one goes well this month. This is my first transfer after my fresh cycle was cancelled due to a pelvic infection post egg collection which caused sepsis.
I have 4 blasts (1x grade b and 3x grade c) in the freezer and have been freaking out about the grades particularly the 3x grade c.
What is the likelihood of these being successful with a natural cycle? I’ve been advised that they will transfer the grade b first but I’m just wondering whether I’ve made the right decision?
HELP!

Hi Daisy, this is such an emotionally taxing process plus the injection of all the extra hormones inside you it can be a massive rollercoaster and you can question every decision many times over. I also just had an FET with a natural cycle. I was nervous if they’d get the timings right but at some point I just chose to trust my doctor , just to get the pressure from my shoulders. I’m not sure the grade of my embryo, my clinic doesn’t grade it just tells you if the embryo looks good quality or not. But I know that they chose the embryo that was the highest quality first and it looks like that’s what your clinic has chosen too. Anyway I’m now 9dp I got a positive at 6dp and keeping everything crossed it goes well. I won’t know until the OTD with my blood test. But if you are having any second thoughts I encourage you to ask your doctor - they are there to reassure you. In the meantime know that what you are feeling is normal and don’t be tempted to compare. So far it seems what you’re doing through is fine but everyone is different and you won’t know until you get the transfer done. But your doctor is the person best placed to help you because he/she knows you and your body and medical history best. Sending you positive thoughts and all the luck in the meantime.
Thank you for your reply bearblue, fingers and toes crossed for you, that’s amazing to hear.
It has honestly been one the hardest rollercoasters I’ve ever gone through. I can’t help but feel very alone despite having my family around me, it’s just so very tough isn’t it! My fertility nurse was happy with my choice as she also wonders whether I reacted badly to the medication. Is this your first natural FET?
