Supplements for FET

Hi all

I went through a fresh cycle last month, due to mild OHSS I was a freeze all. In preparation for my cycle I followed the supplement advice in 'it starts with the egg', it was my first cycle so I have no real idea if they made a difference but I did get 7 blasts in which 4 were good enough to freeze.

I am now wondering which supplements to continue with (if any), my main reason for taking them was egg quality and as I was NHS funded I wanted to give myself the best opportunity on my first round. I really want to cut down on the supplements asap but of course if there are any which you have tried for FET and which seemed to have helped your chances then I would be really happy to carry on! The book says vit e, l argine and maybe coq 10 but having looked online there is mixed advice out there.

Would be really grateful to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience or any that have had FET and prepped with supplements which may have made a difference

It's a good question, I would be interested to hear people's opinions too. I took some pre-conception multi-vitamins plus myoinositol for my PCOS but first FET didn't take so wondering whether there's anything else I can do for next time

Hi KLADY. All the best with the FET. My own thoughts are if you are eating a sensible diet and taking a pre-conception multi vitamin tablet, you should be pretty much covered with vitamins and minerals. Check with your clinic if they recommend anything further. Good luck! Diane
