Frozen transfer supplements advice

I feel like I should know this by now with the length of time I've been going through treatment, but I've only ever had one FET.

And I can't recall what supplements to take. So a few questions if anyone can help:

1) What supplements did others take?

2) If we started supplements and then ended up doing a fresh cycle, can any of the FET supplements harm the egg development?

3) Is 3 months on FET supplements necessary before doing a transfer?

To be honest I don't know for sure if we will be going down this route next and actually haven't been debriefed yet since cancelled cycle! But thinking ahead that it's best to start supplements ASAP.

Thanks all xx

Hey Skittles, I don't know if its 'right' or not but I took: - Pregnacare conception (easy cos it has everything in it)

- Extra Vitamin D

- Magnesium supplement (not sure why but doesn't seem to have done any harm!)

- Fish Oil with DHA (company called Wileys Finest)

Then when I started my drugs my clinic put me on baby aspirin as well (due to repeat MC)

Hope that helps! Fingers crossed you get to transfer soon xx

Thank you Daisy, did you take any Vitamin E?

No I didn’t but I think Pregnacare had a lot and I was told vit D was key x

My clinic just recommends Pregnacare but like Daisy I also take a higher strength vitamin D spray and iron.

They recommended both when we were potentially doing fresh but we’ve always done frozen so I think it’s pretty similar xx

Bump and Glory Fish Oil, Optibacs probiotics for women, methal folate and pregnancy multi vitamins. Vitamin D spray x

Hey Skittles ☺️ my doc in Turkey put me on vitamin D, omega 3, and also b12 with folic acid that's all the vitamins he gave me. On top I was on some aspirin along with all other meds for a FET. I used to take some of those before doc gave me the above, but once I started preparation he said leave everything you are taking and start taking the one Ive told you. This was like 3 weeks prior the transfer. Good luck 🍀 xxx

Hi! I took Vitamin D (spray), Vitamin C, Magnesium, Zinc and probiotics. Once the transfer is done, it is important to switch to prenatal vitamins as you would need lower doses. Good luck!

Hey, I took extra vitamin D, omega 3 and probiotics. The omega 3 in silly doses as recommended by acupuncturist! Couldn’t take pregnacare conception. Always found it makes me nauseous, so I took seven seas trying to conceive instead.

Hi there, I had an upset stomach with pregnacare too so I took the boots own brand version with no problem . I also took probiotics and baby asprin. Good luck.x
