Does varied cycle length influence fertility?

Hi, I’m 42 and we’ve been TTC for nearly a year. My AMH levels are quite high I believe at 56.7 but I’m concerned my varied cycle length may mean my eww quality isn’t so good. It ranges from 26-32 days. We are just about to start IVF and I’m looking for inspiration I suppose or a reality check as to whether it might happen for us. Not really a question, I’m just trying to put things down in text because I’m driving myself mad reading research papers and everyone else’s stories. I’m a natural worrier and I tend to get very obsessive.

Hi Hope42 All women's cycles are different - some are short - long or a mixture of the both !Explain to the clinic your concerns this might help put your mind at rest

As far as cycle length is concerned, it will not affect your chances of success if you go down the IVF route as the medicine they give you dictate the duration of your cycles. I had very irregular cycles, much wilder and sparse than yours (some lasting 40 days, other lasting 80) and I managed, thanks to IVF, to conceive. It can work! Good luck x
