Hello ladies, I'm wondering if anyone has experience of this. I've been doing some embryo banking so have just had my last fresh egg collection cycle, a freeze all. Due to previous implantation failures I've been recommended to have the ERA test before I transfer anymore embryos. Does anyone happen to know how long we need to wait after a fresh cycle before doing the ERA? (am I right the ERA happens within a mock FET cycle).
Thank you!

Hey there, yes that's right - you have the biopsy on the day when you would normally transfer (day 5 of progesterone). You can start an ERA cycle straight away after a fresh cycle as far as I know - but I think it depends on the clinic. I had mine following a failed FET (started meds on the withdrawal bleed) and the results showed I was pre-receptive so needed 24 hours extra progesterone before transfer xx
You don’t need to wait, you can start medications on your next period. I did exactly the same, embryo banking and ERA straightaway after that. Good luck 🤞 🤗❤️
Thank you so much for messaging, that's really helpful. I'm so sorry not to have replied sooner. Unfortunately my clinic are now saying they can't offer the ERA due to capacity in the wake of covid, which is frustrating. Going to focus on getting some NK cell testing instead, and who knows maybe a bit of a break before starting transfers will be no bad thing. Wishing you all the best of luck with yours too!
Hi there, I am literally doing this atm. Had my EC Monday and now waiting for my period to start the drugs needed to prepare for ERA. The period after that we will transfer. Good luck!
