Buserelin side effects

Hi all,

I’ve been going Buserelin injections for 5 days now and feel completely normal .. so much so I’m thinking is it even doing anything.

All I’ve read about is people having side effects so I wondered firstly, is it too early too expect them? And secondly, is there anyone who had basically no side effects?

I’m not wanting the bad side effects btw 😂 but just want to know it working

I have been on buserelin for over 2 weeks now and was also dreading the side effects, but have been ok to be honest! The only thing is i have noticed i am so tired.

Also only this weekend gone i have been a bit more emotional and irritable but nothing too bad, and i am further along on it than you. So try not to worry! We will count ourselves lucky ha. Also i got my bleed after 7/8 days. Hope this helps xx

Thanks for the reply. That’s good to know that it can still be working without having terrible side effects. I’m sure on Wednesday so 🤞 Feels like my years of trying to not get pregnant looking forward to my period! 🤣

Hi there

It takes about a week for me to feel the side effects. Cycle 1 I was an emotional wreck after about a week with a splitting headache. This time around I felt a bit lethargic and have a bit of a headache but other than that not much to report.

Hi there im on day 29 so for week yesterday i have been taking it. I also had on my first cycle but didjt have to take as long as used my own eggs. This time im having DE cycle so on it for much longer.. first time i had a slight headache and hot flushes..after about a week of taking them which i could handle as when i started taking the stims aswell it calmed down.. this time its so much worse. But i didnt start getting them till about 2 weeks in.. lol so i thought i had escaped them this time but no... Im tired all the time i wake up with headache i go bed with headache.. hot flushes lol but its all worth it.. everyones body is different and each cycle is different.. well good luck with your cycle and i hope you have the best outcome.. 👶 my DE should be next week some time. Thanks so much for your reply! Sounds like it can be different every time then. To be fair I have had a headache most days but it’s not too bad for me at the moment. Good luck for your cycle too, I hope you get lucky this time 🤞🤞🤞xx

I have started spotting a little today again, been on buserelin 18 days had my period last week so on CD10 now counting from that. Anyone have any idea if this is normal? Have my baseline scan on wed so will mention it then xx
